Summer Wrap Up-Part 1

This Summer has been a busy one which is also the reason why I am behind on my blogging. I have just decided to incorporate all the summer pictures with "The Summer Wrap Up" Blog in 2 parts(from 2 discs). So here goes "Summer Wrap-Up Part 1".
This summer has been Morgan's Birthday Celebration, Stone Moutain, VBS, Swim Lessons, just to name a few. We also had a blast when my parents (mee mee and paw paw) took me and the kids to Lake Lanier beach and water park. We had a blast. I was proud of Andrew riding the "grown Up" raft ride with mommy and Morgan had no fear! I also had a hard time keeping up with my 60 year old parents down the monster water slides! We had a great day! Thanks Mee Mee and Paw Paw!

End of the big day. Morgan is so tired, mee mee has to hold her up for a picture. Poor baby. She is a good sport.
Mee Mee and Paw Paw with the kids about to head home. Big Day!
The Dunker! I watched while mee mee, paw paw andrew and morgan were dunked! They liked it!
Me and my babies! Yes, Mark was at the house working, poor guy!
I don't think she has a chance of falling through that hole!!
Now maybe that one! Actually you get flushed down a big commode, after being shot out of a tube. AWESOME!
The tube to the big toilet!
Andrew having a blast!
Water is too cold to get under!
Where's the water? NOT the lake that is for sure. So we took in all the attractions at the water park. Morgan loves the Wiggle Waves for kids!
My Precious little man!
Beautiful baby girl!!

You may have to stand on your head to see these but it is from a natural park about an hour north of us. Mark spotted it a while back and told me the kids would love to see all the rocks and water so that is what we did. Pictures are a bit off center because all 3 of us hit the ground when we got there and this was the result I got after taking them. We were ok, just some minor cuts and bruises and camera survived too. It was beautiful, and got some precious pictures even if they are in their life jackets and floaty bathing suits!

We also made it to a friends Birthday Pool Party. The kids had a great time and used their swimming skills they learned this summer from swim lessons. Happy to say Andrew made it off the pool stairs and out of the shallow end and Morgan is every where, when she is not jumping in with no warning! We had a fun day! Happy Birthday Zachary we can't believe you are 5!

Friends Birthday Pool Party. I believe Morgan was out numbered. She doesn't care, it is time for cake!
That is Andrew and Zachary the Birthday Boy. I am not sure what they are doing?
Morgan and "Zachy" swimming together, I believe they are holding hands. aaawww....
Andrew, Morgan and Zachary hanging out at the Mushroom. Mark wanted to turn it on them but it was turned off! HA!

Those 2 small specks are my babies. WOW, swim lessons sure did pay off. Well worth it! Andrew is so brave now, but Morgan can still do laps around him! They swam the length of the pool!
Well that does it for Part 1. I will be blogging part 2 soon. It has been a fun summer but back to reality next week. We all go back to school next tuesday. I am teaching 3 year olds 2 days a week at their new school, Andrew is starting Pre-K and Morgan is starting preschool for the first time. Should be a fun, busy, interesting year. Looking forward to it!

Cool,free, fun

This summer we have pretty much stayed in or around water or indoors since it has been so hot! One day last week my friend Betsy and I took, Andrew, Morgan and her son Eric to the mall of Ga. to see a free summer movie and played in the water fountains in the court yard. They had a blast and were very intertaining!
Andrew and Morgan just getting started.
Didn't take Andrew too long to get wet.
It took Morgan a little longer to get going. Not into her picture being made either.
well, ok , I guess I will at least check it out, but I am not getting wet! Can you say NAP time!
Monkey see, Monkey do!
Morgan watching Andrew and Eric, but still not real sure what she wants to do.
I wish we could of joined them!
They look like they are up to something
Still taking it all in. Only view I could get, fountains were pretty crowded that day
Now that is creative. Way to go Eric, you made your mom so proud.

My child is easily influenced!
Can you say enema! Boys will be boys! At least they are having fun and staying cool!
