New Back packs for Christmas

The kids bff Zachary and his mommy and daddy gave the kids backpacks for Christmas. You would think they never saw back packs before. They loved them!! They played with them on almost all night. Morgan still walks around with hers on, saying "Zachy's backpack he gave me". They were definitely a hit. Thank You Zachary!! They love their backpacks and we love you ! Thank You!!

A friends Christmas Program

The kids friend Abbe had her Christmas Program at her school Tuesday night. This is also Andrew's old preschool and where he currently goes to Cubbies. As always the director of music and the children did a wonderful job! We really enjoyed watching Abbe and seeing some old teachers and friends. Andrew and Morgan were excited to watch because they will be doing their program on Thursday at their school a long with their Christams parties.
Can you guess which on is Abbe? (Center, white shirt, loves the camera!)

Andrew and his 3 year old preschool teacher. He was so happy to see her. Although Andrew loves his new teachers and his new school, she is our favorite so far, and we do miss her very much! It was so good to see her again!

Trying to get a shot for our Christmas cards, I think it came out after the 10th shot, literally. I have not had the time to do what I wanted for our cards this year so with time running out we had to just click it and go with it, oh well, there is always next year.

Abbe and Andrew, I think this was about the 10th shot as well for them. It was a long evening, but a fun one.

Aww, bff's

Well it took a lot shots of the 3 of them but we finally got one! We had a good time and enjoyed seeing Abbe and some old familiar faces. We will definitely miss everyone, but will come back for visits pretty often.

Bethlehem Preschool Santa Breakfast

Notice Morgan's picture in the snowman. "Santa Pictures" at the Santa Breakfast

Saturday was the kids Santa Breakfast at their Preschool. Of course there are no pics of me which is fine, but I was behind the scenes working. It was the first annual Santa breakfast at their school with an expected number of people to be 150, and there were about 230 people there. Needless to say it was a busy morning. The breakfast was a success, the pictures with Santa had a few gliches but overall it turned out to be a fun morning with the kids and a nice time with family and a visit with Santa. The kids got their picture with Santa( I don't have it to blog), but Morgan actually enjoyed it and didn't cry this year. We don't push the issue, but I am glad they had a good visit, and a fun time with daddy too. Mee Mee and Paw Paw were there also. I am looking forward to next year, but probably won't be running the photo dept.

2008 Pink Pig and Varsity Tradition

It is that time of year for the Macy's Pink Pig tradition with the Elkins family. We have gone for the past 4 years now and we always have a blast. We figure we only have a few more years before they think riding a pink pig is not the cool thing to do. We had a fun night riding the pink pig, eating at the varsity, and enjoying hanging out with our friends. Can't wait until next year.

Rub a dub in the new "whirly tub"

No, we are not moved in quite yet. We were out late last week at progressive lighting and stopped by to drop off the new bathroom fixtures. We decided to let the kids take a bath because we knew they would go to sleep before we left the neighborhood and had the usual long ride home. They had a blast! They can't wait until they can use it again soon. The more we are there the more it feels like home. Landscaping is being done this week, so we will be moving in the week of Christmas break. Can't wait to ring in the new year!! Boxes and all!!!!(Notice the blinds that are in) My Dad ordered and installed them himself in less than a week! He rocks! Thanks Dad/Paw Paw.

Casting Crowns Concert

Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, other performers there were Natalie Grant, Michael English, Avalon, and some others.
Some friends of ours made it possible for us to see them by giving us some free tickets. It was a great concert and we were glad to be able to see them again along with some other awesome performers. Not the best of pictures.

Lilburn Christmas Parade

Mark was out of town this week at the annual snowball derby races, so I took the kids to the Lilburn parade. They had enjoyed seeing all the cars, and marching bands and of course the candy. We must of been in a sweet spot, because our bags were over flowing with candy! They loved it!

Nativity scene from a local church, The kids and I drove through it that night and it was amazing! Something to see. They give you a cd as you drive through.
Taking it all in...
Come to find out this was Mark's cousin David. He went right by us and none of us saw each other. Beautiful Camaro! I am sure he would of let Andrew go for a ride!!
My old High school. I was the first graduating class in 87. I was proud to say I was on the girls softball team of Meadowcreek high school, but not so proud to say we never won a game. I enjoyed every minute of it though!

My other high school I started out at before school districts changed.

Morgan waving to the puppy
Andrew was excited to see so many old cars, the kid is all about cars!

I was happy to see they still brought out the Dawg car out after their last game. I am still a fan!!
Rudolf Truck, funny!
This is a reassuring picture of our Lilburn police. We had missed all the cars and fire trucks, but caught the tail end of this. They finished up the parade with Santa, but that was all she wrote for my batteries. We had a good time, and kind of sad being our last parade here at our home town.
