New coloring book

Andrew got a 3d coloring book for his Birthday from one of his good friends. One night last week he tried it out with his 3d glasses and had a good time with it. Of course Morgan had to try it our with some of daddy's help so she was able to experience coloring in 3d too.

Batting cage in the Basement

Mark set up a tarp and Andrew's equipment so they can practice T-ball in our basement. Of course Morgan has to be a part. Here she is the Bat/Helmet/ball girl. She takes part in it as well and is pretty good but can't play until the fall. Andrew is doing well and really getting into it now. Our first T-ball game was canceled due to rain, but we are looking forward to it next week and it is going to be a fun season!

Ta-Da, there you have folks, Batting practice in the basement.

Backyard Sand Pit

She is obviously not afraid of heights, made me a little nervous, but took a quick pic. We have brought a little of everything to the sand pit. It is their favorite spot in the back yard. This load of sand was left over from the house construction and if the kids have anything to do with it, I think it is a permanent fixture in the back yard. Hours of entertainment. We all love it. Me and Mark have been known to build some sand castles and dig holes ourselves. We are all enjoying the "sand pit".
This was all her idea. She buried her own feet in the sand. I think she is ready for the beach. Hopefully we will make a trip to the beach when we go to our their cousins Birthday Party in May.
Morgan was so proud of her "rainbow in the Sand" she made, actually it was pretty good.

Morgan had to have her own dump truck too! They play so good together, they are big buddy's! We love to watch them play together, so precious! Loving the sand pit too!!

New Umbrella's

Last week we finally found the umbrella's the kids have been looking for. Looks like we found them right in time for all the rain we will be getting and need in he next 3-4 days. We love the rain and are grateful for it. They can't wait to use them and especially play in the rain and splash in puddles.
Morgan with her Tinkerbell and Andrew with his Transformer Umbrella's

I think she was trying to be Mary Poppins here, but truth be told,I am sure she is trying to get Andrew with it.Even though it was just sprinkling on this day, they had a ball with them opening, closing, spinning them and getting a lot of practice using them. They will definitely get good use out of them.

Super Hero Birthday Party

Our good friend Aaron had his 5 year Birthday Party a couple of weeks ago. It started out as a "Batman" Birthday but ended on up being a "Super Hero" Birthday Blow out.
Aaron(Batman) Andrew(Robin)Cousin Sheridan(Spider Woman)and Yes that is Morgan as the Hulk!! She had the Growl down perfect and is known to turn in to the Hulk from time to time!

Too cute to put a mask on that little Hulk. She loves the hulk, that is her new thing along with Tinkerbell, Princess's,Dora and Barbie's. She is a hoot!

Cousin Sheridan,Aaron, Andrew, Nathan,Morgan,Brennan and Ethan. The 3 boys are brothers and Brennan and Sheridan are the kids cousins. Cousin Ashton was at a Chorus Competition.
We had a fun time at Aaron's Birthday and have been going to his Birthday parties for 5 years now. He always makes it to Andrew and Morgan's too. Mark and I have grown up with his Mom and Dad through church and have always kept in touch. They are dear friends and so glad to be closer to them now. We are looking forward to up coming play dates, and I am sure we haven't seen the last of the super hero costumes!

"I can do it myself"

Morgan is Miss "I'll do it myself" lately, well, I let her "Do it herself"...She did pretty good, took her a while, and amazing enough she didn't even have a melt down!

Here is Morgan in her room having a tea party with her babies ,Dora and Tinkerbell. She loves her room. I was going to blog the kids room, playrooms and other rooms of the house eventually, but this is the best I can do for now, been pretty busy unpacking boxes and getting settled in.
Morgan in her Tinkerbell bathroom, with her Tinkerbell cup, standing on her princess stool. She loves her room, bathroom and closet!!

Morgan's closet/Playroom for now until we get her closet set up. I think it is big enough for both!
Morgan's "Tinkerbell" Room! I can't wait until we put her canopy up and all her pictures and room decor, hopefully soon, and it will definitely look like Tinkerbell lives here!

You just might be a Redneck if.....

You just might be a Redneck if you use the tree that fell down in your back yard from a snow storm as a swing!

This is a tree that was bent over by all the snow a few weeks ago. We couldn't resist. Sadly it was chopped up for fire wood. It was fun while it lasted. We do actually have a hammock and this same swing bolted underneath our deck. So it is a better set up, and hopefully the kids will have a real playground soon!

School Days

I have been so behind on my "School" blogging. I have misplaced Valentines Day and some other pics of our School days, but here are a few. Still more to come.
This is a Shamrock Andrew made on St. Patricks Day.
Andrew's Teacher made these special treats. They were so good, and they looked like cookies, but they were tortilla shells, baked, and had sprinkled sugar(green) on top. I'll have to give those a try one day soon.
A little green friend made a big mess while the kids were at music and chapel.. The kids thought it was pretty funny. He left green footprints too.

It was quite a surprise when they arrived back to class. Andrew coming in door, mouth wide open!
Andrew has the best teacher, always making it so fun and exciting, it was a fun day,and no body was pinched!
Here is Morgan in her class playing with her friends. I happen to be in the class right next to hers and took a pic. I really don't see Andrew and Morgan much while we are at school because I am so busy with my class but try to get a picture or check on them from time to time. They love school and are having a ball. We can't believe school is almost over. Time flies!

Another picture I got while they were having circle time. She is the one in light green shirt with her look a like next to her in the pink. So cute!

Picture Day/Farmer Day

It was Picture Day for Me and the kids this week. They were all taken on different days, so here is Morgan showing her stuff. What a ham. I am sure this is what they had to work with as well!

Andrew had "Farmer Day", and this is the best we could do. Hopefully he will be a big help in a couple of weeks when I get our garden going/growing?
Andrew and his class on "Farmer Day". Andrew is 4th kid on left . They are all so cute!
