Dora live Show at the Fox Theatre

Oops I can't figure mark's lap top out just yet,but this is Morgan on our way to the Dora Live show, she was so excited and has talked about it ever since I told her we were going!
Well Morgan got her wish. She absolutely Loves Dora and has the hair to match(bad subject and it will grow),but we were lucky enough to be able to go see it today. A friend of mine gave us free tickets who we also went with and her little girl who is also a big fan of Dora! Thank You Maria! I wish we had a chance to of taken more pictures but cameras were not allowed during the show of course and it was all a blur, good show though! The only thing they could of left out was the 20 minute which seemed longer "intermission' aka "potty" break but we enjoyed all of it and very thankful we were able to go! Good Girl's Day out!(Even though I think Andrew would of enjoyed it too)Oops,I have yet to figure Marks new laptop out but can blog in a mili second ,so I am just going to leave this one alone,on out way to the show, she was so excited and talked about it all this week!
Cheese(real quick pic) oh that "Dora Hair'!!!
Morgan(Caidy Rae and A part of Maria) lol-They were given "Estrella's" Stars,so they saved us money on souveiners! Thanks Dora!Once again.....OOPS, on the way home. All Dora'd out! I think I am too for a while. I told maria it will be Hannah Montana in a year are so,we need to pace ourselves! Fun day though!

Morgan's New Hair Cut

Well when I left the barber shop with Andrew today I had no idea we would be leaving with a short haired Morgan! I will be honest and say it is a bit short for my taste but all I have heard for the last couple of months is that she wanted short "Dora" hair and had it cut to her shoulders a month ago hoping that would satisfy her,but I was wrong. So I wasn't prepared so I didn't get any pics of her in the "spongebob" chair or her locks getting cut off,so here she is.
She still looks like a Princess to me! Mark said she could be bald and still be beautiful! He is right, although I feel like she is bald,it is just hair and it will grow back!
THANKS A LOT DORA,SHE IS THE CULPRIT!

Oh well,it will grow back!!! No more ribbons, piggy tails, bows, for a while, etc, but that's ok,I will just buy her some BIG diamonds, kidding, she is still precious!! She loves it,so that is all that matters! I did the same thiing when I was 5,I cried to get my hair cut short,so if anything she will feel better with the next 2 hot months left and hopefully it will be grown back out for school pictures!

Andrew's Sleepover

Come on Zachary you have to admit it,you enjoy Morgan too! Because she loves you!

Well Andrew finally had his buddy zachary over to spend the night.I can't count how many times Morgan said" hey guys". She wanted to be included,so I guess this was her sleep over too. They ate and ate, swam, and chose to do Morgan's back yard water park over going to one,so it was all good. Here are some pictures from today and Andrew has already asked when he can go to Zachary's to spend the night. I don't know if Zachary knows yet but Morgan will have to come too!

Big Day at Six Flags

Me,Andrew,Cousin Sheridan, and our friends Betsy and Eric went and spent the day at six flags a couple of weeks ago. It was Andrew's 1st time to six flags so I wasn't sure what to expect, but wow was I surprised to find out how much he loved it! We were there for 6 hours and he had a blast! They/we all did so well, and had the best day!
Andrew sitting on one of the train at the Thomas the Tank play area. We were able to rise the train and the boys and sheridan had a great time playing, between riding rides.
Andrew and Eric, and their little red faces, waiting patiently for the bumper cars.
Couldn't pass up the remote control monster trucks!
Or some of the games...
Took a few throws with the darts, but popped some balloons and won a Super Man cape, highlight of the day!
Too Cute,Eric won a Super Man cape too, with 3 throws in a row!Way to go!
Betsy even won her self a prize,I my self came home empty handed, but that is ok, Andrew and sheridan didn't!.
Cousin Sheridan, "What's Up Doc"?
The Batman Car.Big Highlight of the day. Last stop. Not tall enough for the Batman ride itself(my favorite) but he had wanted to check it out all day and we were able to see the car,so cool! Andrew had a great 1st time at six flags. We missed Morgan but had a great time spending the day with Aunt Michelle(Sheridan's mom) and hopefully next year or when she grows a few more inches she can go spend the day with us at six flags. BUT,it is me and mark's turn in a couple of months to go be a couple of big kids.We always go one night in October when it is cool and not as crowded and ride the big roller coasters a few times in a row. I don't think we will ever grow up,I hope not!

Summer Fun at the Water park

Water Park Fun! Andrew (center),Morgan on the stairs! Life Jackets at all times of course at the water park.
Snack time. They have safety breaks for 15 minutes every 45 minutes, and the kids love to hang out and snack,EVERY safety break. So funny. They tell me "go down the mommy slide mommy. "its ok" they tell me,with Andrew giving me the "thumbs up".
So I must admit,we camp out right by the water slides,so yes, during the "leisurely adult swim" I am hitting the water slides!! They think it is "so cool"! Well it is only "so cool" about 3 times, they think I am their age!! Every time I go down,it reminds me 40 is just around the corner, literally!

Well Summer just wouldn't be summer with out plenty of time spent at the Water Park. We usually try to go 1x a week but have been so busy with everything else,we have been able to get out to it a few times this summer. They are such little swimmers this year! Mom and Dad's pool has really helped, and now Andrew is swimming with out a life jacket. I keep life jackets on them when we are at the water park because they can't stay out of the lazy river or off the slides. I love spending time with my babies, they grow up so fast and am so grateful for the time I have with them! It will be back to school before you know it. Less than 3 weeks!

More Summer Fun at the Drive-In

OK,Just noticed all the Movie Titles on the board, we saw "Transformers 2" !
This is the 2nd summer we ventured out to the Drive in with the kids. It was a bit further and a little warmer than last year, but it is so much fun. It is very family friendly, people grilling out,and just hanging out. We usually bring dinner and snacks with us,pillows, chairs, blankets, and just have a great time being together and watching a movie at the drive i. Hope to make it back one more time this fall, when it is cooler!Brought back memories when my parents use to dress me and my brother in our pjs and load up and go to the drive in,what fun!So glad we are able to do it with our kids.
Morgan loves her brother, how cute is this! This must of been right before the movie started because Andrew was glued to the BIG movie screen. I think Mark and enjoyed watching the kids watch the movie more than the movie it self! What a fun Family night!

Vacation Bible Camp 2009

Getting ready for Bible Story time "Fishers Of Men",hanging with his buddies.
Last week was Vacation Bible Camp at our church and I was able to help out in Andrew's class this year. They had a great time in chapel ,bible study, crafts, lots of activities, and just hanging out with friends. Andrew knew most of his friends in his class so it made an even better week. I was not able to see or get many pictures of Morgan because she was in a different building, but she had a great week too, and will post some of her Bible School crafts soon.
There is Andrew sitting next to one of his buddies during chapel time. In here we would sign sounds and watch puppet shows, bible stories, along with bible verses they learned during the week. The really looked forward to going to chapel,I think that was their favorite part of the week.
Andrew's is 8th one down,He drew a picture of us,he said he was Thankful for "Daddy,Mommy and Morgan",how precious! We are pretty Thankful ourselves to be his Mommy and Daddy!
Andrew with some of his friends at the craft table.
Making sun catchers. The boys did really good with making their crafts, but enjoyed building things with blocks and playing together too.
What a great week,so glad to be a part of it.Kids learned a lot and really enjoyed themselves and so did I. Can't wait to see what next year brings.
