This is the 3rd round of baby birds we have had this summer. Mark discovered these while watering my Mother's Day plant on the back deck after the mommy bird flew out and gave him a heart attack! We were able to literally watch them hatch,the kids thought it was awesome! Good teachable moment! They were very careful and never really bothered them. We watched them eat,sleep grow,and fly away. Now we have more babies on the front porch!
Andrew and Morgan LOVE their Cousin Sheridan(8),She spent a few days and nights with us a couple of weeks ago,and the kids stayed water logged. They would play in the sprinklers,pool then come warm up and wash off in the bubble bath. Wow, the fun of being a kid in the summer!
Light up girl,We can't lose her in the dark! Easy to keep track of her this way! AND they love glow sticks,more than the laser show!
Bless Andrew's heart,Loves fireworks and the Laser show,but has covered his ears since he was little!

Andrew and his glow sticks,he will probably have the same ones for next time,he keeps ALL of them in the freezer. We may have some as old as he is!

Sure will miss having Morgan's annual Birthday Bash at Stone Mountain this year(has been a tradition) BUT she is looking forward to having her "Backyard,Water park,Princess Party" at her new "Tinker bell/Princess/Transformer House"(In Her own words of course)Love that little girl!!!

They love the Stn. Mtn. playground,now I miss being that close to it!We use to live at Stn. Mtn. park,now it is a treat when we go because it is quite a ride,but kids love it when we go back,so do I!

A few weeks ago my best friend Stephanie and her 3 boys from Birmingham came for a long over due visit. We took the kids to Mayfield dairy for a tour and of course ice cream. They had a blast. (Morgan,Will(6),Andrew,Cody(9) and Jake (11) Sweet boys!

Me and Stephanie, We have been friends for over 20 years, even when time goes by and life happens we always seem to pick up where we left off,just hate we live in different states. Hopefully we will meet again soon! Enjoyed the visit,and the kids absolutely had a blast together!
Well it is that time of year again, Mee mee and Paw paw finally got their pool up for the kids about a month ago. They are little fish, they love the water. It came right back to them and I am so glad, they are having so much fun swimming and it is SO wonderful to only be 7 minutes from my parents instead of 45 minutes,we love living so close to our family,church and friends!
Andrew is pretty brave this year,he is jumping and taking his life jacket off trying to swim and go under.I think most of his fear from last year is gone and the swimming lessons did pay off!
Show off, she has never been fearful of the water, she is a little fish!Her new Dora life jacket,she grew out of her "floaty Bathing suit" and Andrw wouldn't even consider putting his on!
Mee Mee and Paw Paw added a swing set and has a sand box now,so we spend a lot of time over there now,the kids love it and so does the grandparents.
Happy "Daddy's Day"! Andrew and Morgan LOVE their daddy! We had a fun day with family. "Desserts with Dad's" with homemade ice cream, it was a great Fathers Day!

Our Niece, the kids cousin Ashton was in the Crepe Mrytle festival in downtown Monroe a few weeks ago. She has a beautiful voice and the crowd and judges also thought so because she won! It was a fun day!Morgan is her biggest fan!
Andrew is Brennan's biggest fan, he loves his cousins!They had a fun time too, we missed out on the "Vote Ashton" shirts though,oh well.

We are so proud of Ashton for winning,we will be able to see her perform at more events through out the year and also she plans on trying out for "American idol "next year, and I know she has a good chance at that winning that too! Congrats Ashton!
