Pilgrims, Indians, school, and Thanksgiving

Here are my little pilgrim and Indian. They are showing off their art work they did at school. Instead of a Thanksgiving feast at school this year they had a special guest come in and share with them about Thanksgiving and they spent time doing special things in their class to celebrate Thanksgiving with their teachers and friends. We are now preparing for the Christmas program coming up soon. That should be something to see and to be a part of, especially with this being Morgan's first one along with my 12, 3 year old students!! Can't wait!

Morgan and her twin (partner in crime) Some of my kids mixed in too.

"Cheyenne" with Morgan
Some of the many art work pieces by Morgan
Andrew's Thanksgiving book ( a couple of pics he colored)
I love to just hear him say "Cornucopia"

His "Thankful" cross. Mommy, Daddy, Morgan, Brennan (favorite cousin!)
Andrew's turkey placemat
Blessing mix: Bugles, pretzels, candy corn, peanuts, dried fruit, and candy kisses
Pilgrim hats. A mom brought some in to school for our class snack and they were so cute. Me and Morgan tried to make some. We just had to add the yellow belt buckle in the front(yellow frosting). We went a little crazy with the chocolate though.

The child thinks she has to strip down to her pull ups when she plays dress up or bakes?? She is a hoot! She loves helping mommy in the kitchen too.
She had to finish it up with a few marsh mellows. She is so funny. I am to blame for her sweet tooth. We had fun and can't wait to make Christmas cookies soon!
